This add-in will remove the ProgId and Generator Meta tags that FrontPage inserts into your page.  It removes the tags when the page is saved, so if you open your page in FrontPage and still see the tags there, don't worry.  When the page is saved, they'll be removed.

If your Web folders are broken, this add-in will allow you to still open your Web site.

Installation Tip:
If you receive a 1911 error when installing this add-in, disable your anti-virus software and try again.

This add-in will cause FrontPage 2000 to prompt you to save changes to any open pages prior to publishing.  Without this add-in, FrontPage 2000 will ignore any unsaved changes to pages when publishing.

This add-in is not necessary for any version later than FrontPage 2000.

Easily insert e-mail links without falling prey to the spam harvesters. Spam Spoiler uses JavaScript to rebuild the e-mail link on the fly.

• Spam Spoiler now adds text to Design view in FrontPage so that the link is visible.
• Spam Spoiler 1.0 is not compatible with FrontPage 2000.  It only works with FrontPage 2002 and later.
• Version 1.0.0.6 corrects an issue with multiple e-mail links on the same page.  Thanks to Tom "Pepper" Willett for finding that bug.
• Future version will streamline the script entered on the page when multiple links are used.

Note:  Spam Spoiler will not stop spam at an e-mail address that the spammers already know.  It is designed to stop spammers from getting an e-mail that they haven't already acquired.  It can do nothing to remove your e-mail from spammer databases if they already have your e-mail address.

How well does Spam Spoiler work?  We added an e-mail link on our Contact Us page using Spam Spoiler before we ever released the add-in.  Since doing that, our spam hasn't increased one bit (and we chart all of it.)

If you're considering a competitive product, check to see if they use it on their pages.  If they don't, neither should you!

Easily create and edit pop-up windows.  Pop-up windows created with Spawn will work with most pop-up blockers including the one that comes with Windows XP SP2. 

If a pop-up blocker blocks a Spawn pop-up, the link will still be displayed in a normal browser window.

Version 1.9.9 Update 

The following new features have been added in the latest update.

• What's This Help has been added to all controls.
• A problem was corrected that would sometimes prevent the "Show cursor as a hand" setting from being re-read correctly.
• Changed the "Show cursor as a hand" implementation so that it will work cross-browser.

How to Update an Existing Version:
Just install the new version on top of the old version.  Our installer will automatically remove existing versions.

Special Note to FrontPage 2000 Users
If you are using FrontPage 2000, you may still encounter pop-up links that Spawn cannot read.  In those cases, Spawn will notify you and you will have to re-enter all information.  This issue is caused by a problem with FrontPage 2000 and does not exist in FrontPage 2002 and later.

Note:
Spawn is not supported for pop-ups in image maps or photo galleries.

This add-in will add an "Unlink" option to the right-click menu whenever you right-click on a hyperlink.  When you choose that menu option, the hyperlink is removed and the link is changed to regular unlinked text.
