Download SpyBot
Download ScanSpyware

Download CCleaner
Download Dr.Delete
install and check for updates....
PROCEDURE:
1.Turn
off System restore (just click if you don't know how)
2.Reboot
to the "Safe mode" (just click if you don't know how)
3.Show
hidden files (just click if you don't know how)
4.Run Hijackthis:
Check:
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://g.msn.com.sg/0SEENSG/SAOS01
R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - _{CFBFAE00-17A6-11D0-99CB-00C04FD64497}
- (no file)
O2 - BHO: PK IE Plugin - {1E1B2879-88FF-11D3-8D96-D7ACAC95951A} -
C:\WINDOWS\system32\ptdllwb.dll
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [MSN MMISSENGER] mssmmspgr.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [ptdll] C:\WINDOWS\system32\ptdll.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\RunServices: [MSN MMISSENGER] mssmmspgr.exe
Fix checked...........
5.Run Task manager(CTRL+ALT+DELETE):
C:\WINDOWS\system32\mssmmspgr.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\ptdll.exe
End these processes
6.Find and delete these files:(use Dr.Delete)
C:\WINDOWS\system32\mssmmspgr.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\ptdll.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\ptdllwb.dll
7.Scans:
run scan with Ad-AwareSE (full system scan, scan volume for ADS)
run scan with SpyBot
run scan with ScanSpyware (do complete scan)
run scan with Mwav (all scan options)
8.Cleaning
run CCleaner (analyze---run cleaner)
9.Reboot
10.Enable System restore (reverse progress of disabling) |
